A wedding opening film

I started with a storyboard and used ChatGPT for advice throughout. It helped me break the sequence into shots, refine prompts for images and video, and work through animation and music choices. I reviewed the outputs and asked for changes as the film took shape.

During my review, I noticed a cultural concern the AI had not flagged: the daisy motif could carry associations with mourning, which felt inappropriate for this wedding. I chose a peony instead, both to suit the celebration and because it carried meaning for the couple.

Reviewing the images meant considering what they might mean to the couple and their guests. That decision called for cultural awareness and human judgement.

Some parts called for precise movement. For the countdown, I worked through a Keynote animation approach with ChatGPT. I used Kling for the animated scenes and explored music generation with Adobe Firefly and ACE Studio.

The initial concept had too many ideas, so I simplified the sequence. One revision was removing the couple's silhouettes from behind the illustrated doors. I also worked through how the final glow could fade to a dark screen before the bride entered. The ending needed to make sense in the room where the film would be shown.

This short animated film is now pending the couple's review of music selection. I can't wait to see how the transition from animation to the real entrance feels in the ballroom.
