I've spent more than a decade working in service design and research, across healthcare, government, and digital platforms. My work involves understanding where a service is falling short and helping the people responsible for it decide what to change.
I lead through influence, often without formal authority. That means making the case for a change and working through decisions with the people who will put it into practice.

I designed and built a working prototype for an F&B operations platform, using AI tools to turn requirements into flows and interfaces the client could review.

Background
I studied accountancy, started my career in healthcare operations, and later moved into design. Working in a hospital taught me to pay attention to both the patient's experience and the staff trying to provide good care.
At Hyper Island in the UK, I worked with people from different countries on problems outside the healthcare setting I knew. I had to get to know unfamiliar markets and work with teams from different backgrounds.
I'm interested in work that improves public services and people's everyday lives. If that's what you're working on too, I'd be happy to talk.
How I work

- I use interviews and fieldwork to understand what people need and what gets in their way.
- Blueprinting
- I map what users experience alongside the work happening behind the scenes.
- Strategy
- I look for changes that help users and that the organisation can put into practice.
- Facilitation
- I work through decisions with the people who will have to put them into practice.
Coaching & teaching
I have coached product designers and product managers. I've also delivered corporate training for Visa and Grab. At Grab, I ran facilitation training on stakeholder alignment and working through difficult discussions.
I currently teach AI & LLM Foundations at the Singapore Institute of Technology. I've also taught Design Innovation there, and design thinking as an external instructor in secondary schools.
Through CareerFoundry, I've mentored more than 40 UX learners, helping them question their assumptions and explain their design decisions.
